Soko’ Stay Kedung, blending art and nature into a Boutique hotel
Sitting between rice fields and the coastline of Kedungu, I can say that Soko’ Stay is the perfect place for a weekend or holiday getaway. I visited Kedungu once before for a short trip and easily fell in love with the area. So this time, I decided to spend more nights there. We connected with Soko’ and booked it right away.
To go to the hotel, you need to pass a small gang that is only fit for 1 car, if you bring a big car, it is better to call them beforehand to prepare parking. Dewa, the receptionist welcomed us warmly, showed me around the Soko’ and explained to us about the area. Soko has 5 different room types, Everyday, Sunny, The Apartment, Sunset, and Panoramic. The design itself is fascinating, you’ll straightly know this building is well-curated by a designer.
The infinity pool is very inviting and perfect for a refreshing soak. It’s located in the middle of Soko’, surrounded by lush greenery, making it an ideal spot to cool off from the Bali heat and enjoy your time in the peaceful Kedungu area. They also have a communal kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals. During sunset, we were amazed to realise that this kitchen is also a perfect spot for chilling and enjoying the sunset.
The beach is just a 15-minute walk from here, and it’s delightful to walk because you’ll pass a rice field and some cafes. The vibes remind me of Canggu in 2016. So enjoy the moment, See you in Kedungu!!
