Rain is pouring down on Ubud quite hard today, but hunger is also pouring on our stomachs as we wonder what Hujan Locale will put on our table today.
Chef Will Mayrick shaped Hujan Locale as a fusion of Indonesian and modern Western dishes. Hujan local focuses more on slow food kinds, with “found and foraged” and “farm to table” style cooking, and tries to make a good relationship with some of the local farmers by using what they grow in their gardens.
The interior ambience is equally inviting, with its warm decor and relaxed setting that enhances the dining experience. Hujan is firmly placed on Ubud’s list of fine eateries, making a menu of innovative, bold flavours, an exciting blend of spices and a beautiful presentation. This place is an ideal spot for social gatherings or romantic evenings.
